AUC (ROC AUC)

Also written: ROC AUC, AUC, area under the curve

A score from 0 to 1 for how well a model ranks real positives (such as subscribers who cancel) above negatives; 0.5 is no better than guessing and 1 is a perfect ranking. In the Kettle & Crane project, the logistic regression churn model scores a test AUC of 0.777.
