Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
FiftyPage (fiftypage.com) is run by Ubidesk LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to hello@fiftypage.com.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, and a display name if you give one. If you sign in with a password, our sign-in provider stores it only in hashed form, and we can never see it. You can also sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
Your learning progress. The chapters you open and where you stopped, your quiz answers and scores, your flashcard and practice progress, your review schedule and daily goal, and the learning paths you enroll in. We keep this so your progress follows you from device to device and so we can show your My learning dashboard.
Your purchases. What you bought, the price, the date, and the payment references from Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
Visit and device information. Like most websites, we and our providers receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you here, and actions such as starting a checkout or completing a purchase. Some of this comes from cookies and similar technologies (see below), and some from our hosting provider's logs.
Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and our reply so we can help you.
Code Playground. Code you run in the Playground runs in your own browser, not on our servers. Your most recent code for each language is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. When you create a share link, the code is packed into the link itself, after the "#", so it isn't sent to our servers. Anyone you give the link to can read the code. To run some languages, your browser downloads that language's runtime from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr), which receives your IP address as part of the download.
How we use it
- To give you the books, web editions, quizzes, flashcards and practice you have access to, and to keep your progress in sync.
- To take payments, give you access to what you bought, handle refunds, and prevent fraud. Stripe emails your receipts.
- To answer your messages and help with your account.
- To understand how people use the site so we can fix problems and make it better.
- To measure our advertising: whether ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and purchases. We also use it to show FiftyPage ads to people who have visited the site.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and advertising tools
We use these tools on fiftypage.com:
- Google Analytics measures visits and how the site is used.
- Google Ads measures which ads lead to purchases and lets us show ads to past visitors.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) measures visits, checkouts and purchases from Meta ads and lets us show ads to past visitors.
- Meta Conversions API. When you complete a purchase, our server also reports it to Meta: the amount, an order reference, your email address and account ID (both hashed, a one-way scrambling, before they are sent), your IP address and browser details, and Meta's own cookie IDs. Meta uses this to match the purchase to an ad, so we can tell which ads work.
- Necessary storage. Cookies and browser storage that keep you signed in, remember your settings, and keep the site working. These can't be switched off without breaking sign-in.
These providers handle the data they receive under their own privacy policies. Under some US state privacy laws, including California's, sharing data with advertising platforms in this way can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time (see below).
Who we share it with
We share information only with:
- Service providers that run parts of FiftyPage for us: our website and app platform and its hosting, our database and sign-in provider, Stripe for payments, and Google and Meta for analytics and advertising.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or Ubidesk LLC.
- A buyer or successor, if FiftyPage or Ubidesk LLC is sold or merged. This policy would continue to apply to your information.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of ad tracking. Email hello@fiftypage.com with the subject "Do not sell or share my personal information" and we will stop sending your purchase details to Meta. You can also block tracking with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, adjust your Google ad settings, and change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- See, correct, download or delete your data. Email us from the address on your account. We'll confirm the request is from you and respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account and learning progress and ends your access to anything you bought. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Marketing email. If we ever send you marketing email, every message will include an unsubscribe link.
We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and learning progress while your account is open, and delete them within 30 days of a deletion request. We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires, usually seven years. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to each provider's own retention settings.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database so each reader can see only their own data, and trusted providers for sign-in and payments. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
Children
FiftyPage is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email hello@fiftypage.com and we will delete it.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also post a notice on the site or email you.
