network namespaces

Also written: namespace, namespaces, netns

A Linux feature that splits one machine into separate network worlds, each with its own connections, addresses and routes. Because each namespace acts like a separate computer, namespaces such as `laptop`, `server` and `router` can be joined into practice networks on a single machine.
