SPF record endings (-all, ~all, ?all, +all)

Also written: -all, ~all, ?all, +all, Fail (SPF), hard fail, Softfail, Neutral (SPF), Pass (SPF), all mechanism

The all part at the end of an SPF record says what happens to servers not on the list: -all fail (receivers may reject), ~all softfail (accept but mark suspicious), ?all neutral (no statement), and +all pass (anyone may send, so never use it). Kettle & Crane's record ends in -all.
