HTTP status codes

Also written: status code, 200, 401, 403, 404, 403 Forbidden

The number a web server returns for each request: 200 OK (it succeeded), 401 Unauthorized (sign-in failed or missing), 403 Forbidden (refused) and 404 Not Found (no such page or user). With the response size, the code shows whether an attack in a log worked.
