RSA (Rivest, Shamir and Adleman)

Also written: RSA, RSA key transport, NIST SP 800-57, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), SP (Special Publication) 800-57

A public-key algorithm; using it for key transport gives no forward secrecy. NIST SP 800-57 rates RSA 3072 as equal to AES-128 (128 bits of security) and RSA 2048 as about 112 bits.
