Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service)

Also written: S3

Amazon Web Services' cloud object storage service, used to store files and backups. Its Object Lock feature can make backups immutable: they are stored write once, read many (WORM), so no one can change or delete them until a set retention period ends.
