Low-powered communications

Also written: low-power radios, low-power wireless

Radio systems built to send small amounts of data on very little battery, such as BLE, Zigbee, Z-Wave, LoRaWAN and RFID. They trade security for battery life and price, so weak encryption, weak pairing and missing updates are common.
