HTTP status codes

Also written: status code, status codes, 200, 401, 404

The numbers a web app sends back for each request, shown in its access log: 200 success, 401 not allowed (for example a wrong password), 404 not found. A burst of 404s for odd page names from one address is what a scan looks like.
