subnet

Also written: subnets, /24, CIDR notation, 10.15.0.0/24

A range of addresses for one part of the network, such as the office or the guest Wi-Fi. It is often written with a slash: 10.15.0.0/24 means all 256 addresses from 10.15.0.0 to 10.15.0.255.
