agentless

Also written: agentless collection, agentless check

Collecting data without installing anything on the machine, using built-in features such as syslog, SNMP, flow export, SSH, cloud APIs or outside probes. It covers routers, printers and cloud services, but gives less detail and puts credentials on the collector.
