HTTP status codes

Also written: HTTP status code, status code, 200, 401, 2xx, http.response.code

The three-digit number a web server puts in its reply to say how a request went. For example, 200 means OK, 401 means not signed in, and any code in the 2xx range means success, which is why monitoring probes often count 2xx as "up".
