TLS (Transport Layer Security)

Also written: TLS, TLS 6514, RFC 5425

Encryption for a network connection, where the server also proves who it is with a certificate. syslog over TLS uses TCP port 6514 (RFC 5425); use it whenever logs cross a network you don't control.
