Glossary: Software Design Patterns in C++
Architecture patterns (MVC, hexagonal, CQRS, microservices)
Also written: MVC, Model-View-Controller, hexagonal architecture, ports and adapters, CQRS, Command Query Responsibility Segregation, microservices
Patterns for organizing whole systems: MVC (Model-View-Controller), hexagonal architecture (ports and adapters), CQRS (separate reading and writing) and microservices (many small services). They apply the same design ideas as smaller patterns, but at the scale of an entire system.
