VLAN tag

Also written: tag, 0x8100

Four bytes in a frame that name its VLAN: 0x8100 sits where the EtherType normally goes, followed by 2 bytes whose top bits hold a priority and whose lowest 12 bits are the VLAN number. The real EtherType comes after the tag.
