bucket

Also written: buckets, S3 bucket

A named container that holds objects (whole files) in object storage such as AWS S3. A bucket's name must be unique across all of AWS because it becomes part of a web address, so companies add a prefix such as `kc-` (as in `kc-product-photos`).
