sendBeacon

Also written: navigator.sendBeacon

A browser function, `navigator.sendBeacon(url, data)`, that sends a small POST request the browser promises to finish even if the page is closing. It is used to reliably deliver data such as web-vitals measurements when a visitor leaves the page.
