Acknowledgement

Also written: acknowledgment, acknowledgements, policy acknowledgement

A statement signed by one person, often a tick box in a training system, saying they have received, read and understood a policy or course and will follow it. The business keeps it in its own records, as with Priya's acknowledgement of Data Handling Policy version 3.
